Part 2 Summit Recap

Texas A&M Health held a highly successful in-person Summit in October 2022, with support from Genentech and Health Tech Austin.
HealthEquityInnovation.org pro
For the March 1st Virtual Summit, we continued this discussion and shared a community of practice in how data technologies can enhance health equity. We reviewed highlights from our in-person Summit and others sponsored by Genentech.
We reviewed national policy efforts and strategic initiatives to make precision medicine more equitable. We emphasised how pharma/tech companies address health equity issues and how their work can help reduce health disparities and improve public health. We welcome others to share what they are doing in this space and how we can redefine personalized medicine to be an equity facilitator rather than an equity barrier.
